The Challenge
Develop a cohesive collection of travel and event materials for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' 2023 Producer's Education Conference in Sedona, Arizona. The annual conference recognized outstanding staff achievements while offering attendees a variety of educational sessions, outdoor activities, and networking experiences.
Working with an established event logo, color palette, and partially developed Program of Events booklet, the project required refining the existing design direction and extending it across a diverse collection of print materials. Key challenges included organizing detailed event information within a horizontal booklet format and developing a custom travel wallet with multiple visible surfaces and an interior pocket.
The Approach
Expanded upon the existing creative direction, incorporating Sedona's distinctive red rock landscapes, desert-inspired colors, and natural imagery to create a cohesive visual experience. Warm reds and oranges were complemented by greens and blues, while expressive script typography and clean sans-serif fonts balanced the event's adventurous atmosphere with a professional corporate aesthetic.
Refined and completed the Program of Events booklet, carefully organizing schedules, activities, travel details, and guest information into an accessible, easy-to-navigate layout. The visual direction was then carried across personalized attendee materials, event signage, stationery, and a custom travel wallet. Particular attention was given to layout consistency, variable-data applications, and print production requirements to ensure a polished, functional collection.
